For farmers, grocers, and operators

Emission reductions that pay for themselves.

From refrigerant upgrades to food waste diversion, we fund and structure the projects. You get measurable returns without taking on cost, risk, or extra work.

20 years of experience across the food supply chain.

We work with grocers, distributors, farmers, cold storage facilities, and operators across North America—reducing operational emissions in active systems and generating measurable returns.

01

Identify

We review your systems to assess where reductions can be structured into eligible projects. If it works in your operations, we can make it viable.

02

Implement

We support upgrades and process changes within your normal operations—no disruption, no new complexity. Projects are structured to align with real operational timelines.

03

Measure

Our proprietary software platform, ThermWare, collects and measures your outcomes. You have full visibility into project status, credit issuance, sales, and timelines without taking on additional work.

04

Fund

We connect your projects to funding and manage the process end-to-end. You get paid without having to navigate markets, buyers, or compliance requirements.

No upfront cost.
Full execution.

Developed by operators and engineers, our programs keep participation simple with minimal lift from your team.

From local operations to global impact.

We work with the operators who keep the global food supply chain running—farmers, cold storage providers, grocers, and the facilities in between.

  • If you operate within a brand or retailer's supply chain, there's a good chance they have a Scope 3 emissions target—and your facility is part of it. We structure your project as a value chain intervention, so your reductions count directly toward their goals and your work gets funded through that relationship.

  • Companies working toward carbon neutrality—whether by choice or obligation—need verified emissions reductions they can claim against their footprint. Your project generates those reductions. We structure and verify them so they're creditable, and connect them to the buyers who will pay for them.

  • Certain state, provincial, and federal programs require specific industries to meet emissions and fuel standards limits, and your project can help them do it. We structure reductions to qualify under programs including LCFS, CFR, BCROP, and OBPS, as well as Canadian federal and provincial compliance frameworks.

  • State and local programs can offset your upfront costs or accelerate your timeline—particularly for equipment upgrades and refrigerant transitions. We identify what's available and build it into your project structure so you're not leaving money on the table.

Flexible funding matched to your project.

We structure each project based on the funding source that fits it best.

FAQ

Most operators come to us asking the same things: what qualifies, what it costs, and what we'd need from you. Here's where we start.

  • If your operation involves refrigeration or avoids methane, there's likely a project here. On the refrigerant side, that includes swapping high-impact refrigerants for climate-friendly alternatives, finding and fixing leaks, and recycling or safely destroying old refrigerant gas. On the methane side, it includes diverting food waste from landfill, converting scraps to animal feed, dairy recycling, and composting. If you're not sure where you fit, that's what an initial conversation is for.

  • No. We work with everyone from single-location operations to regional chains to national and international companies. Our model brings many projects together, so the scale comes from our network—not from you. That's part of what makes us different: you don't have to be big to participate.

  • Nothing beyond what you're already planning to spend. You don't pay us. You earn a share of the revenue your project generates. In some cases, we can even prepay you against future credits. Either way, participating doesn't mean taking on new costs.

  • Truthfully, it depends: on the project, its size, the market, and the pathway it fits. Rather than quote a number we can't stand behind, we'll walk you through a realistic estimate for your specific systems before you commit to anything.

  • You've got options. We can structure an agreement to pay you upfront once everything is signed, or you can choose to get paid as credits are sold. Whichever you pick, you'll have full visibility into the process—and we spend real time walking you through it before you decide anything.

  • No. Our solutions work within your existing infrastructure, CapEx schedules, and constraints, so you can participate without disrupting day-to-day workflows or adding to your team's plate.

  • Just what you already have on hand. Things like refrigeration schedules, capacity amounts, and landfill information. The exact details vary by project, but our platform, ThermWare, makes it simple: you get a portal showing exactly what's needed, you upload what you have in whatever format it's in, and we handle the rest. No calculations required on your end.

  • ThermWare is our proprietary platform for managing your project data. You get a portal that shows exactly what information we need, when we need it. You upload what you already have—refrigeration schedules, capacity amounts, landfill data—in whatever format it's in, and ThermWare handles the rest, including the calculations. It's how we keep participation simple: no new systems to learn, no math on your end, and full visibility into your project from start to finish.

  • No. Knowing your position in a larger company's supply chain can open additional funding pathways—like inset programs that count toward their Scope 3 goals—but it isn't required to work with us.

  • Because until recently, these types of projects were nearly impossible to fund. They're spread across everyday operations in amounts too small and too scattered for traditional carbon markets to reach. Our model changes that; by bringing many projects together, we make reductions that were invisible to the market both viable and valuable. You haven't heard of it because it mostly didn't exist until we built it.
