Therm Solutions Named to Miami University's 2026 RedHawk50

Company ranks #16 among the 50 fastest-growing businesses founded or led by Miami University alumni

LAKE FOREST, IL [September 29, 2026]: Therm Solutions, Inc., a carbon project developer specializing in superpollutant elimination across the food supply chain, has been named to Miami University's 2026 RedHawk50. Therm ranked #16 on the list of 50 fastest-growing companies founded or led by Miami University alumni, with an independently verified growth rate of 63.65% over the three-year measurement period.

Therm was co-founded in 2021 by John "Fritz" Troller (Miami University, School of Business Administration, Class of 1983), who launched the company after identifying refrigerant and methane emissions as one of the highest-impact, most underaddressed levers available for near-term climate action. Two additional Miami alumnae, Sheila Cavalaris and Lisa Troller, hold leadership roles at Therm, giving the company three Miami connections among its principals.

"I'm proud to see Therm named to a list built around Miami alumni. What I took from my time at Miami wasn't one single lesson so much as a habit of building things that actually work in practice, and that's still how we operate today," said Troller. "The pace we're growing at reflects how fast operators are moving on refrigerant and methane emissions once the financial case is clear. We're building Therm to meet that pace, not just catch up to it."

RedHawk50 is an annual program from Miami University's Farmer School of Business (formerly School of Business Administration) and the John W. Altman Institute for Entrepreneurship, recognizing the 50 fastest-growing private companies in the world founded or led by Miami alumni. Honorees are ranked by an independent third-party accounting firm based on compound annual revenue growth over a three-year period. This year's class of 50 collectively represents 17 industries, more than 8,700 employees, and over $2.9 billion in combined annual revenue.

Therm reduces food supply chain emissions by turning operational climate action into revenue and measurable impact. The company develops and delivers superpollutant elimination projects, primarily targeting refrigerants and methane, structured for carbon markets, compliance systems, and value chain reduction programs. Therm works with grocers, distributors, cold storage operators, and agriculture partners to bring new participants into climate markets and connect high-impact emissions reductions to the financial pathways that let them scale.

Therm is headquartered in Lake Forest, Illinois. More information is available at therm.cool.
